  • A Grade 12 Grade Assembly will held on Thursday February 26th   in the lecture hall during period 4 @ 12:00 noon to review all details. If unable to attend, all information is posted here.
  • Cash Online Commencement Fee ($65) opens March 9th and closes April 30^th 2026 at NOON.  The all-inclusive Commencement Fee includes:  a Student gown (mandatory for participation), cap & tassel, Commencement breakfast, and the Commencement ceremony at Mohawk College with one parking space.  School Cash Online | Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (hwdsb.on.ca)

2026 Commencement Graduation Student Checklist

• Commencement Breakfast Thursday May 21st  takes place 7:45 AM – 9:15 AM in the cafetorium during period 1, included in your commencement fee.  Please attend to gather important information regarding the commencement ceremony, arrival time, parking, etc.
• Parking information:  One free parking pass will be provided per family: You must pre-register the vehicle you will be parking on the Mohawk portal.  Details to be posted shortly.
• Tickets:  Grade 12 students participating in Commencement do not require a ticket to attend commencement.    The number of tickets to be distributed to students is based on number of participating Grade 12s and theatre capacity. This will be determined and shared end of April. Doors open for parents / guardians at 3:30 PM. Guests must have a physical ticket for entry. (no photos) Theatre & overflow rooms provide seating. First come first served seating.
• Package Distribution:   The Commencement Package will be distributed during Exam week.  Information to be released shortly.

Please check back here starting in July for information about when you can pick-up your Graduation Diploma and transcript from the school.

Class of 2026 Prom/Dinner Dance

The Class of 2026 Prom/Dinner Dance will be offered this year. Tickets are available on cash online from April 1st –  April 30th. (this is a separate fee from Commencement)

Guest forms and Student Contracts must be submitted to the main office by April 30th, 2026.

ALL STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE THE STUDENT CONTRACT AND COME WITH STUDENT ID   (Forms will be available in the Main office)

Location and Address:  Galileo Gardens, 1223 Highway 8, Stoney Creek, ON

Additional Information:

Students from the Class of 2026 can purchase a maximum of 2 tickets.  All Students must complete the “Student Contract” and bring Student ID to the event.  (Student Contract forms will be available in the Main Office).

Guests:  A guest form must be completed and approved by administration for the guest to attend this event. Guest forms will be available in the main office.

Seating:  Table seating arrangements can be made using the seating form. Tables seat 8-10 people. Forms will be available in the main office April 1st. Students who do not complete a seating arrangement will select any available seats on the night of the event.

Tickets must be picked up in the atrium on May 4th and 5th during period 3 & 4.    ALL forms are due April 30th.     A maximum of 250 tickets are available. Tickets are non-transferrable and non-refundable.
